ACCESSIBILITY PROJECT
A redesign of the donation page with accessibility at its core aimed at reducing user drop-offs and improving conversion through a more inclusive, user-friendly experience.
To understand what might be causing users to drop off at the donation stage, I reviewed the current donation flow and identified several key pain points that could be affecting usability and accessibility.

Key Findings
Navigation - Keyboard navigation is only partially functional.
While users can tab through set donation amounts and the 'Continue' button, they’re unable to access the full range of payment options limiting accessibility for non-mouse users.
Affordability - Although users can manually enter a lower donation amount, this isn’t obvious especially for older users or those with limited digital confidence. With the default minimum set to £10, some users may feel excluded or unsure if smaller donations are acceptable.
Progression - There’s no visual indicator showing how many steps are involved in the process. Without this feedback, users may feel uncertain or overwhelmed, increasing the likelihood of drop-off before completing their donation.
